One more picture of me on Half Dome.

Thought of the day-
All the sadness and drama you have lived in your life was rooted in making assumptions and taking things personally. The whole world of control between humans is based on that. Take a moment and consider this.

Love,
Catra

Me on the top of Half Dome today.

I choose to live my life the way that I want to.
If I want to drive to Yosemite for the day, and run up Half Dome I do it!
I think everyone should break out of their bubble and get out and live more
.
We don't know if today will be our last day. I know if I die tomorrow people will say she lived her life how she wanted.

Get out and live.

XOXO,
Catra

I always wanted to join the circus. I love clowning around :) Me on Diablo climbing a tower.
I'm heading to Yosemite late tonight after work. Going to run Half Dome in the morning. It's just for the day.
I just love Yosemite.

Thought of the day:
Your best will depend on whether you are refreshed in the morning or tired at night.
Your best will be different when you are happy as opposed to upset, or healthy as opposed to sick.
Under any circumstances, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

Have a beautiful day,
Catra

Remember to always have fun while training.
Me in Sunol today, just being me and having fun.

Thought of the day...
Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. If all humans would communicate with impeccability of the word, all of our relationships would change. There would be no wars, no violence, no misunderstandings.
Have a beautiful day.

Cooling my legs in a pool of water in Sunol
.

Thought of the day-
Real love is accepting other people the way they are without trying to change them.
If we try to change them, this means that we don't really like them. It is easier to find someone who is already the way you want him or her to be, instead of trying to change that person.

This is so true. In my marriage I tried to change the person I was with. You can't change anyone. I learned this.
Still searching for my soulmate.

XOXO,
Catra

Me & Kevin. I met Kevin on the JMT, he's an ultrarunner from L.A. We spent
a day and a night together. I had so much fun with him. He bailed on me at the Vermilion resort juntion.
:(
I met so many cool people on the trail this year.
People ask me all the time arn't you afraid out there alone? NO! I feel so much safer out in the Wilderness than I do in the city.
Even when hanging out with complete
strangers. People on the trail have a trust and respect for each other. I only get good vibes from every person I have met in the Sierras.

Super happy to back running on my trails. Still dreaming of my trip to the Sierras. Today I go back to work. I'm looking forward to it. I miss my co-workers and my favorite customers.
-thoughts for the day-
Keep your attention on today, and stay in the present moment. This is the beginning of a new understanding, a new dream.

Wisdom card of the day:
If I wait until I become perfect before I love myself, I will waste my whole life.
I am already perfect right here and right now.
Have a great day! :) Posted by Picasa

Pole dancing on Mt Diablo. This was taken on the summit inside the building on Mt. Diablo.
It's great to be running without the 16+pound pack.

Last night on the trail. Barker Pass trailhead.
It was cold but worth it to sleep out under the stars.
I'm heading out to camp out on Mt. Diablo for a few days to run and play. I'm having a hard time being indoors. Need to get out on the trails again.

Tahoe rim trail....Sometimes little things excite me and make me smile. Just like a little pacth of snow along my journey. I really missed all my family and friends. It was fun most of the time out on the trail. I will tell you it was no picnic. 10-12 hours of forward motion a day. Hiking and running all day is hard work.
In the end it was all worth it. Even if I didn't link up the entire trails as planned. It was still a link up and epic adventure.

I'm Back!!! JMT,PCT(96 m)TRT. 511 miles, 21 days 1 hour & 27 min.
I finished today and I'm back home. I'm off to sleep in a bed. I feel a little weird. I almost feel like going outside and sleeping in my back yard with my dog. But I won't.
I will go away this weekend again to camp out on Mt. Diablo.
I will write my story soon. I missed all of you.
Love,
Catra
